in ghana the children of the neighborhood use to play house, we would gather household items such as rice, tomatoes, oil, peper,onions and anything we could find, and they had these little stove and plates and pots and pans made for little children (that you purchase at the market) and we would gather and cook real food, our mothers will be there and tell us what to put in  and we would do this almost every weekend. and this is how most of ghanaian children learned how to cook, we called this game ” Ensekuro”
